Helline, one of my work friends, turned me on to these traditional Korean walnut pastries called Hodo Kwaja. They have the appearance, size and shape of a real walnut. They have a soft pastry exterior and a yummy red bean, potato and walnut paste interior. Hodo Kwaja is my new favourite thing!!
Tony- thanks for sending me the link to your blog; it's a lot of fun to read about your teaching adventures in Korea. I just had to post a comment and let you know that the first time I ate walnut pastries like these was in Toronto!

Is that coffee? Is coffee easy to come by in Korea? Man, I sure hope so!
